Hummingbird Park

Late post today. And brief...so very tired. Took some pictures this afternoon at our local park where they have a small hummingbird sanctuary. No hummingbirds in residence tonight, but pretty evening and waterfall shots.

Park entrance

A welcoming doorway. I enjoyed the beckoning view framed by the entryway

Waterfall

Side view of the waterfall.
In my sleep deprived eyes, this looks like a muppet
from the Dark Crystal or a lizard head.

  1. The orange of the portal is prettily contrasted with the pink-blue sky. Both photographs are beautifully arranged; the uppermost brace of treetops forming an pretty arching display of contrasting leafy branches, and the second featuring an interesting central tree seen through the gateway. The lower photos convey the natural splendor of water falling in fabulous fashion from rocky formations. Of these, it is difficult to choose any favorite as each one gives the viewer a unique perspective that varies from the overall scene to closeup of the watery splashing. All in all, a very satisfying and successful grouping.
